Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Exciting news for those of you who have enjoyed the Hunger Games and Catching Fire as much as I have, Mockingjay, the final book in the Hunger Games will be released August 24!

If you haven't read the Hunger Games and Catching Fire, I would recommend putting a hold on the books now! The series is set in a dystopian society divided into 12 districts. The districts serve the capitol by providing them with various resources and services. District 12, the district the main characters are from mine coal. Each year two children are choosen from each district to fight in the capitol sponsered "Hunger Games." The only way to win is to be the last "tribute" alive.

The Hunger Games is set to be released as a movie in 2011. Right now the film is in preproduction and there aren't too many details available.
